La Boca for Green Mark Vodka

La Boca have been working closely with More Creative on their new creative direction for Russia's no 1 selling vodka Green Mark. La Boca were asked to create a design that communicated the brand's authentic Russian credentials and heritage with a modern twist taking cues from an artistic movement, constructivism, which originated in Russia in the early 1920s.

In this same period, the Russian Government appointed an agency called Glavspirttrest to regulate vodka production in Russia and award only the finest vodkas the coveted Green Mark seal of approval.

The Breakfast Club

Sam Hadley was commissioned by Elmwood to produce an illustration for the Soho based cafe chain 'The Breakfast Club'.
They were looking for a classic airbrush style pin-up illustration to go with branding on the side of their 'Festival Bus'.
They looked to the iconic ‘Bomber Belle’  livery designs of American warplanes for inspiration – something that would capture the new venture’s pioneering spirit and remain true to the vintage, tongue-in-cheek approach of The Breakfast Club. Flying the tablecloth is ‘Madame D’Arblay’, named after the Soho street in London where the Breakfast Club’s first café was opened.
The Breakfast Club is also looking to a run a series of t-shirts and other merchandise with the same design! Keep your eyes out!

Mark Oliver's magnificent work for Starbucks China is now live.  JWT Shanghai commissioned Mark for ten illustrations, each of a different planet to represent ten Frappuchino flavours. The illustrations also had to accommodate a photographic image of the Frappuchino. Mark says "The plan was to create an amazing HTML 5 animation for the web and all illustrations had to be complete within three weeks."  See it here.
