Bright Author and Illustrator Sue Hendra, has her title 'Dave' short listed for the Bishop Stortford's Picture Book Award 2011, along with another one of Bright's Author and Illustrators Rebecca Elliot for her title 'Milo's Pet Egg'.
Fantastic Frankie and the Brain-Drain Machine, is published this month and features Alex T Smith's hilarious illustrations on the cover and throughout the book. This is Anna Kemp's first young fiction title telling the story of "F-for-failure" Frankie's escapades. Sue Hendra's fantastically written and illustrated 'Norman The Slug With The Silly Shell', published by Simon and Schuster; has been selected to be listed in the World Book Day pre-school leaflet as one of only 12 picture book recommendations. There will be 15,000 in print for use in 14,000 registered pre-school settings and for 500 BookStart co-ordinators, and will be distributed in January 2011. Watch out ‘Barry’!

Wonderful children's artist Sam Church has recently illustrated another great story for the BBC's Cbeebies channel. You can see his delightful handiwork on 'Driver Dan's Story Train' for the tale entitled 'Sky High Loopy'. Constanze is an award winning, German artist and author whose delightful work has been published across the globe with great success. This year her illustrations have been selected for the Illustrator's Exhibition at the Bologna Children's Book Fair. With her unique rich colour and textured work, as well as great line work, we think she will be a welcome addition to our stable of talent!
David Roberts and Julia Donaldson working together again on another fabulous chart topping picture book entitled “The Troll”
The paperback that has recently been published by Macmillan Children’s books, has sat in the top ten of “The Bookseller’s” Children’s Picture Book list for a number of weeks now , and continues to delight both the adult and children’s readership.
The Troll is the second picture book collaboration between one of the most famous and best selling children’s authors, Julia Donaldson and the ever popular and in great demand award winning artist David Roberts.
Their third book is now at completion and this will again be published by Macmillan Children’s books, this is a highly awaited book by all their fans, and will be published later next year.
David’s work was seen recently on “Grand Design” where his book was featured being read to the children of the architect’s who had been designing their new home. The book was aptly named “Iggy Peck the Architect” another bestselling picture book illustrated by David Roberts.
