Simon Prades was commissioned to create the cover illustration for the 21st July issue of TIME magazine
Simon Prades was commissioned to create the cover illustration for the 21st July issue of TIME magazine. The cover feature is about the fate of kidnapped Ukrainian children and how that has been pushed to the edges of the peace process, intensifying fears across the country that they may never come home. The longer they remain in Russia, the more difficult it will be to return and reintegrate them, as the effect of Russian propaganda and indoctrination takes hold over time.

We are pleased to announce that Début Art is now representing Andreea Dumuta. The brief for the Becky G single cover was to illustrate the artist's eyes and have them match the theme of the song which is about feelings of anger but also empowerment following a break up. The single cover is one of a series of illustrations she created for the Latin American singer Becky G for her latest album called Encuentros.

Andreea is based in Romania and her work has been attracting many book publishing companies worldwide. Andreea is keen to start doing more work for other kinds of company and she has recently been creating personal work featuring people.

Phosphor's Satoshi Kambayashi is excited to be working with Boat International US on a new monthly column. In the first illustration, Satoshi was asked to illustrate a crowd of common holidaymakers causing a stir next to the concerned captain of a superyacht called King Benji.
Satoshi brought his unique line and watercolour style to the UK many years ago, and since then he has developed a digital style with a similar effect, plus a more graphic flat colour version. The underlying theme is always his great ability to solve a creative problem by providing brilliant quirky solutions with a sense of humour, which is why so many magazines rely on him to interpret and conceptualise their ideas.
Find more of Satoshi's work in his portfolio at phosphorart.com or get in touch with Trina if you'd like to commission him for your next project.
