Lindsey Spinks Lindt Big Egg Hunt 2013

Lindsey Spinks has been asked to take part as one of the artists involved in this years ‘Lindt Big Egg Hunt’. It’s a brilliant initiative in aid of Action for Children, ‘set to be the largest, interactive public art exhibition the country has ever seen. Last year the hunt raised over £1million pound for charity’. Lindsey has managed to take her amazingly detailed illustrations and apply them to the huge egg due to be unveiled in Covent Garden this February. Bob Lea who clearly has a very distinctive illustrative  style, and especially in the young adult fiction genre, was recently commissioned by Pan Macmillan Publishing to produce a series of stunning  book covers for the  series entitled: The Phenomenals by F E Higgins.  Here is the first book  entitled : “A Tale of Traitors”   which has been creating a lot of buzz in the YA circles. Helen Friel: Revolution

Nearly a year in the making and shot in a continuous take, Revolution follows the cyclical journey of a single water droplet. A collaborative film by paper engineer Helen Friel, photographer Chris Turner, and animator Jess Deacon, who, from original idea to execution, pooled their individual talents to bring the project to life. NATURAL CURIOSITIES

Chris Ede has created this piece for David Attenborough's Natural Curiosities, a new TV series aired on the Eden channel. The art, commissioned by Red Bee Media has been in the Guardian as an A3 fold out poster, and in many major newspapers as a standard advertisement. Trine Johnson, producer at Red Bee Media says: "It was an absolute pleasure to work with Chris on this project. PALMETTO MAMMOGRAPHY TRUCK

Daria Jabenko's stylish ladies can be seen on the Palmetto Health truck in the US. Commissioned to create a design including beautiful females with flying ribbons, Palmetto Health have used the image triumphantly on the truck for their Mammography project. SIMPLE MINDS

Ruth Rowland successfully uses her skills on this promotion for the Simple Minds upcoming tour.
She says "This three dimensional bust was created for the Simple Minds' The Greatest Hits Tour this April. I was commissioned to develop the lettering, working with a range of different marker pens, then scanning and fitting the script to a photo of the head. It was built up gradually until the final image was approved. It's surprisingly tricky to keep the lettering looking raw and not overworked - this vernacular lettering is influenced more by Outsider Art and hand drawn ephemeral signage than by traditional calligraphy. The designer sent over images of the scrawled graffiti on Jim Morrison's grave and the Abbey Road sign as the inspiration for the piece - the fumes from the markers probably helped a little too....there are also plans to use it on the related album which has yet to be released."
