Fotini Tikkou has collaborated with Anthropologie to create a trio of hand-painted stoneware mugs featuring festive designs. Anthropologie commissioned two designs from her, which they then produced on a large scale for sale across their stores.

Andreea writes that “the style of this piece sits somewhere between ecclesiastical and camp, using saturated jewel tones and textured halftones to evoke an aged, print like feel. It’s a love letter to old horror and the beauty of excess. The series as a whole is blending vintage design and surreal humour with a modern twist. I love bold shapes, grainy textures, and that perfectly imperfect print look”.
