Claude is a small, plump dog who wears a beret and a lovely jumper and leads an extraordinary life. A quiet walk in the country turns into a busy day on the farm when Claude ends up mucking out the pigs, feeding the chickens, and lassoing a fearsome bull!

Alex has achieved great things for such a relative newcomer. Claude is his first fiction series and Claude In The City was selected for the Richard and Judy Children's Book Club 2011 and shortlisted for the Waterstones Children's Book Prize 2012. Two more titles will be published in 2013 and Claude has been translated into seven languages with foreign sales in over 10 countries across the globe.
