Behind the Book with Daniel Duncan

We are delighted to showcase two specialty menu designs for US-based pizzeria Mellow Mushroom. Andrew Archer and Mark Ward were selected to “create a menu people would want to steal” - a fabulous objective from the founder of Mellow Mushroom and their agency BooneOakley. With so much creative freedom, each artist was able imagine their perfect pizza world for the cover and interior of Mellow Mushroom’s menus.
Will Broome's friendly and engaging style was the perfect fit when Glamour Magazine were looking to commission a range of illos for a travel special give away .

Phosphor Art's Nod Young was recently commissioned to create a set of colourful and unusual emojis but unfortunately the project was cancelled half way through. Nod decided to carry on with the project for himself and made the emojis free to download. We think they're really fun!
Since Phosphor Art's Pastiche artist has been so busy with commissions, they now have a dedicated team of talented pastiche illustrators, each with their own specialism and ready to tackle any brief.
Rohan Eason works on a new edition of Robin Jarvis' classic novel.
Published by Egmont and with a fresh design, Rohan has used his moody pen work to create a cover to entice young readers, he explains, "All previous versions have focused on the evil dogs or the witches themselves. The idea was to create a more dramatic feeling, to represent what the story entails, the magic surrounding the witches and the majesty and power of the book's setting; by the sea in Whitby."
We're delighted to have worked on Uber's first big UK advertising campaign created by BBH London. The agency chose three illustrators, including our Tom Haugomat, to create a series of illustrated (and animated) executions.
Matt as always has been a drawing machine and working very hard recently. Time Out asked if Matt could produce their British Airways cover wrap of two cocktails with the titles, 'What if your next Manhattan was in Manhattan, and What if your next Martini was in Santorini?'
I think we can all agree it definitely puts you in the mood for a holiday.
Aleksei Bitskoff was commissioned by Egmont to illustrate their new edition of the classic Family series by Enid Blyton, published this month. The Seaside Family and The Caravan Family are fun-filled adventure stories, perfect holiday reading for children aged 5 years and up.
