Commissioned by PBS, U.S.A. to commemorate #JFK100. Online graphic novel "the Telephone Call" describing a pivotal event which helped then Senator John F Kennedy become president. In 1960, JFK placed a call to Loretta Scott King, the wife of Martin Luther King Jr. to express his solidarity for the then imprisoned civil rights leader.
This was widely seen as a turning point for JFK's campaign in the South- turning MLK senior from supporting Nixon to JFK. This is widely acknowledged as one of the factors that swung the election towards the Democratic Nominee.
