Christopher Gibbs – New Cover Reveal
This month we’re celebrating Christopher’s award-winning work and updated portfolio including some stunning personal work as well as commissioned pieces.
We are very pleased to unveil the eye-catching new cover for, The Grief of Stones, written by Katherine Addison which is published next month in the States by Tor Books. Christopher has also recently illustrated covers for the Colleen Cambridge ‘Phyllida Bright Mystery’ series for Kensington Books.
He masterfully layers a mix of photography of found objects, 3D modelling and textures to create atmospheric and evocative cover designs for adult and teen Crime, Fantasy and Science-Fiction publishers worldwide.
He finds his inspiration everywhere, from skips and salvage sites to old books and eBay. Haunting text and mark making intertwines with gothic visuals creating a sense of mystery and menace in his stunning updated portfolio which you can check out HERE.
