Mark Long for Pets at Home
Mark has been busy creating pets (and employee) illustrations for Pets at Home, for their social media instore and internal communications.
Marks unique style was chosen for its charming animal renditions and bold striking colour. Mark is also a keen dog lover which was the last piece of the puzzle for this exciting commission.
In 2008 Mark decided to pursue a career as an illustrator after teaching in secondary schools for several years. He likes to draw animals and people, play football and paint murals. Most often using brush and ink or less often now, lino/woodcuts, there is a light-hearted sense of humour running throughout his illustrations and a strong graphic quality.
