Orange recently commissionedBen Scruton to illustrate their employee guidelines. Ben's brief was to "make people smile when they land on each page, at the same time as clearly communicating what the content on that page is about." Ben's playful characters did the job perfectly.
Liberty, the World famous luxury lifestyle and fashion store in London, have commissionedRichard Johnson to design and create a stunning bespoke mural for the launch of their new children's department in March 2012. Richard has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to hand paint the area, and with his usual fabulous attention to detail and magical imagination, he has really created something special. So get down there and be transported to a world of wonder... even if you haven't got kids! It's a treat to see.
Born into a family of inspiring creative artists with father Patrick Tilley designer, illustrator and writer and French Mother Janine Tilley a wonderful couturier it was inevitable that Sophie Tilley would follow suit. Sophie started her working career as an in house writer for IPC Magazines and then graduated to Fashion and Beauty Editor.
As a freelancer Sophie went on to design a sportswear range for Wembley Stadium
and also designed and co-wrote two books for Hamlyn Reed Publications.
Her passion and expertise for hand- made crafts led her to design and develop a range of products, Soft toys, character dolls and decorative stationery items all with her wonderful continental style and her work has been sold in the UK and Europe. Her illustration work has also led to a highly successful series of books ‘ Princess Evie’s Magic Ponies “ Published by Simon & Schuster.
Sophie is currently in the process of developing her own line of stationery and craft items including a wonderful new line of wooden dolls which she is also offering in kit form.

Huge congratulations to the ultra talented Chris Wormellwho was awarded first prize in the ’books for younger children’ category in the Red House Children’s Book Award 2012 for ‘Scruffy Bear and the Six White Mice’. The award was decided by the harshest critics of all, the children themselves. Well done Chris!
Kings College London commissioned Bill Sandersonto draw this wonderful portrait of Peter Higgs of Higgs boson fame. Peter Higgs was an Edinburgh University physicist working on the origins of mass and the related Large Hadron colider. A specialist area indeed, but Bill managed to to bring life and interest to his subject matter in a way only he can.
Published on March 1st, Christopher Corr is excited about the launch of 'The Goggle-Eyed Goats'; a childrens' book he has illustrated for Andersen Press. Gallimard Jeunesse in Paris are also publishing the book on the same day, which just happens to be World Book Day. Christopher says "It's my first book with both houses. The story is set in Mali in Timbuktu and Mopti and is full of goats and mud mosques and desert scenes." The 'wonderfully vibrant and unusual picture book' will be launched at the Rowley Gallery in Notting Hill on March 1st.
