Miguel Ordóñez recently worked with American talk show host Jimmy Fallon on a children’s book for US publisher Macmillan. The tongue-in-cheek book encourages babies to utter ‘Dada’ as their first word. We think Miguel did a great job with the fun illustrations!

Frances Castle was commissioned by the Imperial War Museum to create illustrations for their new Kid's Guide to their London museum. The book is aimed at children aged 7 to 11 and had to be accessible and appealing to both girls and boys. IWM London re-opened it's doors after a refurbishment in July 2014, in time for the Centenary of the First World War and Frances' brief was to interpret the newly designed atrium with it's displays of iconic planes and other objects. She also produced a series of comic strips telling stories of people's experience of war and conflict up to the present day.
We love the new cover look Carrie May has created for best selling author Katherine Rundell. Carrie worked with the design team at Faber and Faber to illustrate this beautiful cover for Rundell’s debut novel ‘The Girl Savage’, the tale of a young girl uprooted from her life in Zimbabwe, destined for boarding school in London. We love Carrie’s artwork, which captures Will’s wild adventures on her African farm.

On 29th July, Marks and Spencer launched a city wide campaign to encourage local communities to make a real difference. Bright (initiated by Bright Educational) took part in one of the twenty-four projects across London and teamed up with local school, Beyond Autism, to design and create a giant mural to brighten the school playground and raise awareness of the small but thriving organisation. 22 year old Bright Artist Lucy Fleming lead the creative team of volunteers and received a warm welcome from the school’s patrons, actors Prunella Scales and Timothy West.
