The latest from Caroline Church sees her bringing to life some amusing proverbs with her unique illustrations.
Commissioned by Lisa Lee at Crispin Porter & Bogusky, for Domino’s Pizza she explains, "They were after a serious engraved feel but with a tongue in cheek note. The illustrations play on the idea that proverbs guide and inspire Domino's to perfect their pizzas.." The illustrations feature on their new boxes and on the Pizza Proverbs site.

Sink your teeth into this mouth watering illustration created by botanical artist Rosie Sanders.
It's part of her latest project entitled "The Apple Book", published by Frances Lincoln and out now. This charming book contains 144 gorgeous watercolours of apples, from Cox’s Orange Pippin to Peasgood Nonsuch, combined with a practical essay by the Royal Horticultural Society’s fruit officer Harry Baker. More lettering mastery from Ruth Rowland who was thrilled to create the lettering for John Lennon’s "Gimme Some Truth Campaign" to commemorate his 70th birthday.
Overseen by Yoko Ono and EMI Music and using many samples of Lennon’s own writing, Ruth developed hand drawn lettering for use across the album to capture some of his light humour. The logo for the campaign was inspired by the small calligraphic self portraits that often accompanied his signature.

Rachel Ross has illustrated this charming cover for Must Be Love, by Cathy Woodman. The novel is the second in a series set in a country vet practice in the village of Talyton St George. The book is published by Arrow and is available now.

Alex T. Smith is represented by ArenaMark Oldroyd has recently completed some paintings for use in a forthcoming exhibition at the new visitors centre at Millford House in Jesmond Dene, Tyne and Wear. The centre will open in December 2010, in time to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Tyneside industrialist and inventor Lord William Armstrong. Born in Newcastle upon Tyne in 1810, Armstrong was the inventor of the hydraulic crane and the 'Armstong Gun', as well as being an early advocate of renewable energy. He and his wife were instrumental in creating a woodland garden along the sides of the Jesmond Dene valley, now a public park. The exhibition will track the lives and achievements of both Lord and Lady Armstrong.

David Roberts and Julia Donaldson working together again on another fabulous chart topping picture book entitled “The Troll”
The paperback that has recently been published by Macmillan Children’s books, has sat in the top ten of “The Bookseller’s” Children’s Picture Book list for a number of weeks now , and continues to delight both the adult and children’s readership.
The Troll is the second picture book collaboration between one of the most famous and best selling children’s authors, Julia Donaldson and the ever popular and in great demand award winning artist David Roberts.
Their third book is now at completion and this will again be published by Macmillan Children’s books, this is a highly awaited book by all their fans, and will be published later next year.
David’s work was seen recently on “Grand Design” where his book was featured being read to the children of the architect’s who had been designing their new home. The book was aptly named “Iggy Peck the Architect” another bestselling picture book illustrated by David Roberts.
