Images 36 invite!

We are proud to announce that an illustration by our wonderfully talented new artist, Anuska Allepuz, has been selected for use on the AOI's invitation and poster for the prestigious 'Images 36, The Best of British Illustration 2012' exhibition. Her delicate but modern approach to drawing shines through in this stylish design and will be a fantastic advert for all that is great about illustration today. Make sure to go down to Somerset House, the new home of the AOI, to see the exhibit!

Fiat 500 by Nod Young

Nod Young has designed a custom ‘skin’ for the Fiat 500. The theme was "life". Nod applied his iconic and beautiful Chinese traditional style to create the skin titled "Fiat 500 by Life". The design features a dragon ("Spirit by Dragon") on one side and a tiger ("Power by Tiger") on the other.

Steve Horrocks

A big welcome to Steve Horrocks who his our latest signing! Originally from Merseyside, Steve moved to California with his wife in 1995 to work for a major feature animation studio and over the years has still pursued his passion for creating and illustrating on a personal level. Following great success in comics and animation, he has just finished his first childrens book and we think, with his beautiful drawings, that this is the beginning of a wonderful future in the children's market. Steve works digitally but likes to keep a traditional feel to his work.

Louis The Tiger Who Came From The Sea

This sensational image is just a taste of the many from Sholto Walker’s latest children’s book “Louis The Tiger Who Came From The Sea”.

Published soon, Sholto worked very closely with Canada/US based publishers Annick Press on the 28 artworks. They were very clear about the Tiger character they wanted, Sholto says: "…he went through many versions! They've since let me know how very happy they are with the result." More about the book.
