Read For Good

Keith Robinson's work for the charity 'Read For Good' continues with this latest set of illustrations. The images which are for a variety of uses such as bookmarks, certificates, sponsorship cards and posters, are to communicate the pleasure kids can get from reading. Last year, Keith designed the mascot and logo for the charity; Jamie and the orange balloon can be seen 'unifying' this set of images.
"'Read for Good' improves children's lives by encouraging and enabling children in primary and secondary schools to enjoy the powerful positive effects of reading for pleasure. In doing so these children also fundraise fantastic sums of money - to help seriously ill children across the UK."

Clay Pipe Music

Frances Castle has set up her own record label, Clay Pipe Music. She makes music as well as collaborating with other musicians and has combined this interest with her passion for design. Each release comes with a beautifully crafted cover and book, designed and hand printed by Frances herself, making every limited edition CD unique and collectable.

We've put together a selection of Frances' illustrations from her forthcoming CD inspired by Tyneham, the deserted 'ghost' village in Dorset that was taken over by the army in World War 2.

Terry Pratchett Covers

Now on his fifth cover, Tom Steyer gives the German Terry Pratchett editions some modernisation. Manhatten (Random House) commissioned Tom to illustrate bright, bold and memorable images, Tom says: "The technique I use enables them to apply the illustrations in various ways. For example the back covers and insides and tear-out bookmarks can have different versions i.e. different camera angles or lighting of the same subjects. All elements can be isolated and reorganized to form additional scenes. Furthermore all objects can be animated to promote the books on websites". Tom Steyer is represented by Illustration
