Introducing… Carly Gledhill
“My name is Carly Joanne Gledhill. Born and raised in West Yorkshire, I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Design in 2006, followed by a Master’s degree in Children’s Book Illustration in 2010.
With Spring upon us William & Son wanted to take the opportunity to celebrate it’s arrival through some beautiful artwork and animation for their website and social channels. With a little help from Material Organisation, Sarah Maycock and a friend of Frank’s we were able to make this request a reality by transforming their flagship store in London into a visual epitome of the season.

Alan Kitching is one of the world’s foremost practitioners of letterpress typographic design and printmaking. He is renowned for his expressive use of wood and metal letterforms in creating visuals for commissions and limited edition prints. He lives and works at The Typography Workshop in Kennington, south London, which he shared with designer, writer and partner Celia Stothard (deceased 2010).
We are absolutely thrilled to introduce Graham Carter to our talented list. Graham is one of the most intricate and exciting printmakers in the UK. He has been working at the forefront of the printmaking industry for the past 15 years and he has also worked with Animation Studio TickTockRobot on commercial animations for a wide variety of clients.
Emma Rios creates mini theatre sets for a Tatler royal supplement. Emma was approached by Samantha Brownstein, Art Director at Tatler Promotions to create paper illustrations for a lovely feature on Royal Warrants for their Celebration of the Queen’s 90 Years supplement.
Anna is Kövecses is a Hungarian born illustrator and designer. Her work relies on clean minimalist shapes, bright colour and naive touches to create adorable images that are so much more than the sum of their parts.
Since graduating in 2010, Tobias has specialised in lettering, murals and typography, making it the heart of his illustration practice.
Alex Trochut’s 2016 is already shaping up to be an extraordinary year, with a whirlwind of nominations and prizes announced in the first few months alone: in January he won 2 Awards of Excellence from Communication Awards Typography Annual for his artwork for Alagoas’ new album and his self-initiated ‘GO’ typography project.
