Artist Spotlight: Judy Stevens (illustrator, NB Illustration)

Judy Stevens trained as a fine artist in painting and printmaking at Hornsey College of Art (now Middlesex University). She has worked as an illustrator for many years – her work includes children’s books, cookery books, advertising and regular contributions to The Guardian, Observer and New Statesman magazines.

Jo Goodberry profile

Jo Goodberry has been busy working on some Pyeong 2018 sports related illustrations. Jo also works with Penny Girl Magazine on a regular basis doing illustration for their fiction page and recently on a series of educational work book covers Pearson. Jo is an experienced having worked extensively in advertising design and publishing.

Abbey Lossing is an illustrator and animator based in Brooklyn NY. She grew up in Granville, Ohio and relocated to NYC after attaining a degree in Illustration from Syracuse University. Having worked as a staff illustrator at BuzzFeed and then Vice News she took the leap into full-time freelance in 2017. Since then she has already worked with Facebook, Google, Target, The New York Times and The Washington Post

Mister Paul is usually known for his wide angle interiors and classic building illustrations but he has a nice selection of food and packaging based illustration. Mister Paul creates his work by drawing his subjects initially with black ink and a dry nib pen.

Simon Prades was asked by Bloomberg Businessweek to illustrate a powerful cover story by a North Korean defector. Distinct from their usual style, Bloomberg opted to use conceptual artist Simon Prades to illustrate in his complex and moody technique.
