MBDesign approached Rachael from the US last year to ask for her assistance in developing a new look for the ‘home brand’ products for Natural Grocers. Rachael told us how excited she was to help create a new brand based on her charming Illustrations, “I was asked to create an animal character to compliment each product, as well as reflecting the natural and organic ethos of the brand. Character designing is a dream job of mine so I enjoy every moment of working on this!”

Rachael worked alongside the in house team at MBD to develop the brand’s look. “This involved a lot of experimentation, sketches and colour tests. Once we were happy, the rest fell into place quite easily.” Her deliciously cute Illustrations cover each item in the new product range, from silly squirrels spinning honey to fluffy polar bears chowing down on frozen mango chunks!

We have even more exciting news as Rachael let us know there should be even more as the brand grows “As the Natural Grocers brand products continue to expand, I look forward to sharing more fun characters with you.

Phosphor Art's Pastiche artist recently took on a last minute job for Autotrader - completing nine oil-style paintings in just two weeks! The paintings were used in a Facebook App created for Autotrader by New York Agency 72andSunny - you can see them in action here.

The images were part of Autotrader and 72andSunny's 'Finally, It's Easy' campaign, for which they also enlisted Derek Waters, the director and creator of Comedy Central's Drunk History to create some entertaining adverts.

"Last summer Leonie was commissioned by Silk Pearce to undertake an artist residency at Snape Maltings. The first step was an initial visit to the venue to get inspiration which Leonie would call upon to produce a series of artworks for various events at the venue.
