Working with Red Bee Media, Emma Rios produces art for the promotion of Jo Brand's new comedy TV Show.
'Great Wall of Comedy' airing on the Gold channel from next week is all about sitcom classics; such as Faulty Towers and Only Fools & Horses. Emma was asked to create a wall of TV's which are currently being used in the promotional posters. Emma says " I love old vintage TV's so illustrated these. The photos of Jo & Co. where taken separately so I had to make it work as one piece. (I) love going past the billboards on the tube!"

These drawings by Adam Larkum illustrate the story of William and Kate; a Royal Romance. Originally commissioned by Ink Robin before the event, the goal was to get the book app available for download at the time of the wedding. This meant Adam working to an extremely tight deadline; the kind of working style he loves! The app received great reviews and resulted in Ink Robin commissioning Adam to produce an app for the iphone called 'Dress Kate' which involved a wardrobe of dresses, shoes and accessories. Adam says "We then moved back to the ipad story book format and produced a book called Piccalillis Circus, a story of a ring master who has to take the day off due to a cold. Ink Robin have been a very professional and fantastic company to work with and I really enjoyed the way the app brought the illustrations to life."
More good news; Egmont publishers are now using the William and Kate artwork along with commissioned additional illustration to bring the story out in a traditional book form.

Steinar Lund must have donned his thermals to produce this illustration for the cover of easyJet Traveller Magazine! The brief was to create a group of 'family' ice lollies with a frosty background for the June issue, Steinar says "I had to experiment with various characters to get the right family look despite a tight deadline." Art Director Mat Wiggins said of the result; "This looks great ...! I really like the melting bit."

Celyn has been busy over the past few months working with Kew Gardens on their Grow Wild Scheme. Celyn was commissioned to create a wide range of illustrations to accompany the campaign.
The Grow Wild Scheme is an exciting four year campaign to bring people together to sow UK native wild flowers. The purpose of the scheme is to transform where we live; bringing colour and surprise to our streets and turning gardens and windowsills into wildlife-friendly wild flower patches.
Grow Wild is funded by a £10.5 million pound grant from the Big Lottery Fund and led by the Royal Botanic Gardens. From spring 2014, Grow Wild will: distribute one million seed-sowing kits across the UK; create four flagship sites – one each in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and create 160 smaller community engagement sites across the country.
