Mary Portas Shop!

Philip Bannister's portfolio of work for the Mary Portas Shop! column was put on display last month. For the whole of July, 60 of the illustrations originally created for The Telegraph were exhibited at The Regal; Philip's local independent cinema. Mary said of the work ''Philip Bannister is a talent who brings to life my columns each week, but more than that his pictures will become an important visual record of the social history of our high streets. So Philip, if there's any leftover don't worry I'll be buying them!''

UN Stamp

Launched in June, this wonderful stamp has been created by Gail Armstrong for the United Nations.  The job was to create a paper sculpture based on the theme of 'land' to mark the UN conference in Rio, Brazil for the International Summit on Sustainable Development. It has been high-profile and also hugely successful leading Gail to put together a movie showing how the piece was made, giving an amazing insight to her creative world! Watch it here.

David Hitch: Colgate Wallchart

David Hitch designed these charming characters for Colgate's Clean Floss Code Family Wall Chart. He had to create a tooth character that was colourful and engaging to encourage people to "love their mouth because it's good for their health". The wall chart will be available to download from Colgate's Facebook page.

It also has a side effect described at https://spineandpainassociates.com/tramadol-100mg/ such as the desire to sleep. It caused a great effect and I managed to sleep for 4 -5 hours in the hospital. It belongs to drug preparations and is sold only by prescription.

Simon Bartram's Bob, Man on the Moon was first published in 1992 and the Bob books have become a picture book phenomenon reaching sales of 250,000 and winning Simon The Blue Peter Book Award.
To celebrate Bob's 10th Birthday, Templar have launched Simon's new picture book, Bob and the Moontree Mystery.

Watch out for forthcoming events and competitions. Simon Bartram is represented by Arena

Gary Redford

Gary Redford was commissioned by Hatched London to illustrate a series of posters celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Gary was briefed to create artworks with a contemporary feel, whilst still reflecting the history of the Park. Gary achieved the look by combining a vibrant colour palette with a nod to the styling of vintage travel poster's.
