This month at The Art Market, we are featuring the work of David McConochie, who has produced a full page colour illustration for Conde Nast Traveller Magazine. This image was created to accompany an article entitled " A letter from Singapore". David has produced a beautiful montage of photographic image with vibrant swatches of colour to create this illustration.
As part of BT Artboxes, London’s biggest public art exhibition supporting ChildLine‘s 25th Anniversary, leading illustrator, Lizzie Mary Cullen was commissioned by First Direct to transform their phone box into a work of art in just 24 hours non stop, starting at 10am on the 18th June 2012 in Covent Garden. Lizzie completed the box with a fantastic design, and it will be auctioned for the charity later this month.
La Boca have been working closely with More Creative on their new creative direction for Russia's no 1 selling vodka Green Mark. La Boca were asked to create a design that communicated the brand's authentic Russian credentials and heritage with a modern twist taking cues from an artistic movement, constructivism, which originated in Russia in the early 1920s.
In this same period, the Russian Government appointed an agency called Glavspirttrest to regulate vodka production in Russia and award only the finest vodkas the coveted Green Mark seal of approval.
