Angel Doll by Sophie Tilley
I couldn’t resist posting this beautiful Christmas image of an Angel doll by our very own Sophie Tilley! The doll is designed and made by Sophie which is just one of her many talents!
Sophie is the artist responsible for the charming illustrations in the highly successful series of books published by Simon and Schuster "Princess Evies Ponies" written by Sarah Kilbride.
Sophie is happiest creating her own characters and animals, and has developed lots of arts and crafts ideas which she promotes on the Etsy site.
She also designs and develops a range of children’s products, notebooks, character dolls, soft toys and decorative stationary items.
With the obvious French influences of her mother, Sophie always brings a little more in French style to her designs and illustrations.
At the moment she is working on a series of books based on her own characters and writing. More to be revealed very soon!

Rob Ball for Sony!
Over the last few months Rob Ball has been working on this amazing project for Sony and the marketing of their new game Battle Royale Allstars. Rob said ‘It was a lot of fun finding the right level of detail to describe both Big Daddy from Bioshock, and Ratchet & Clank. If that wasn’t enough, any project where you get to draw Parappa the Rapper can’t be half bad!’

Lincoln Costumes
Richard Merritt has been busy working on a commission from Walt Disney Pictures, as costume illustrator for the Steven Spielberg film 'Lincoln', starring Daniel Day Lewis. Richard is the artist of choice for the exceptional costume designer, Joanna Johnston, having previously worked with her on a number of films. His task is to visualise her designs and bring them to life, and we think he does this with great aplomb and style. The drawings have recently been showcased in People magazine in the US, and the film is being tipped for multiple Oscar nominations, so we've got our fingers crossed for costume!

Yorkshire Tea
Yorkshireman Andrew Hutchinson was delighted to be asked to re-design the packaging for Taylors of Harrogate's iconic "Yorkshire Tea" and "Yorkshire Gold" brands. The brief was to make a more realistic style of image without significantly changing the overall look of the package. The illustration was also to include familiar features of the Yorkshire countryside; Andrew's painting captures it's beauty, the Dales' Ribblehead viaduct, Castle Bolton and the Moors' Rosedale mines. Super job!
