Ian Whadcock for View Magazine

The Olympics are just around the corner and with this in mind Ian Whadcock was commissioned to illustrate a feature for View magazine.

The feature focuses on the true meaning of Olympic spirit and commends the civil and public servants who will make the games possible.
Ian's illustration cleverly combines sporting achievement and the more mundane, but essential, work going on behind the scenes.

Starbucks China

Mark Oliver's magnificent work for Starbucks China is now live.  JWT Shanghai commissioned Mark for ten illustrations, each of a different planet to represent ten Frappuchino flavours. The illustrations also had to accommodate a photographic image of the Frappuchino. Mark says "The plan was to create an amazing HTML 5 animation for the web and all illustrations had to be complete within three weeks."  See it here.

Olympia Illustration Competition

Lucia Emanuela Curzi has won second prize in the Olympia Illustration Competition! The brief was to produce a poster design that marked their milestone anniversary while celebrating the venue’s rich culture and heritage, with the poster being featured in their commemorative 125th anniversary campaign. Lucia created her piece in her spare time earlier in the year, and only just missing out on the first prize place, the organisers called her to say they would be making a 'special' second prize place for her! Lucia was able to join the celebration at The Olympia Theatre where she has been photographed with her art.
