Giant snowmen

Tado were recently invited to take part in a fantastic project put together by the Toronto Tourism board, The Magic Pony Gallery, CP+B, Narwhal Arts Projects and Lunch Creative. Along with 15 other artists they designed 8 foot giant snowmen who have now taken over Toronto's parks, shopping malls and public spaces. The Torontoland Giant Snowman campaign is raising money for the Startlight Children’s Foundation who are dedicated to improving the quality of life for children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses and life-altering injuries. Each time a picture is taken of one of the snowmen and uploaded to Facebook $2 will be donated to the charity.

Jointcare Sevenseas

Over the last few months Kate Forrester has been working on a great range of adverts for the Jointcare Sevenseas campaign. Kate’s hand designed typography was perfect to create the right feel for each different piece, and work with each of the images to emphasise the benefits of the Jointcare range. A different slant to some of Kate’s other work, this really shows how flexible she can be! Kate Forrester is represented by the Artworks

John Lennon’s 70th Birthday

More lettering mastery from Ruth Rowland who was thrilled to create the lettering for John Lennon’s "Gimme Some Truth Campaign" to commemorate his 70th birthday.

Overseen by Yoko Ono and EMI Music and using many samples of Lennon’s own writing, Ruth developed hand drawn lettering for use across the album to capture some of his light humour. The logo for the campaign was inspired by the small calligraphic self portraits that often accompanied his signature.
