Tomislav Tomic has illustrated The Snow Merchant, Sam Gayton's debut novel, published by Andersen Press. This magical, fantasy adventure is already gaining positive reviews not least due to Tomislav's stunning cover and inside illustrations.

ArnO has been working on these brilliant covers for the Gregory Maguire saga. The titles shown here, ‘Son of a Witch’ and ‘A Lion Amongst Men’ are follow ups to the first novel, ‘Wicked’, made famous since it’s adaptation into a Broadway musical.

The Chris Beetles gallery recently hosted the launch of the exciting new project Daniela Terrazzini has been busy working on, the first title in the series from JJ Books, ‘Tales for Great Grandchildren’. Daniela was asked to illustrate the whole book including both the full colour watercolour pages, title pages and the cover illustration. The author John Jackson has written a fantastic set of stories based on the folklore and mythology of India and Nepal and Daniela’s intricate and beautiful illustrations are the perfect accompaniment for such a special project, ‘The bewitching illustrations by Daniela Jaglenka Terrazzini bring the characters out of the page and into our hearts. Her work is enchanting and seductive, and will spark the imaginations of all’.

We are proud to announce that Mark Ruffle has won the prestigious English National Ballet 'My First Ballet' poster competition. His artwork for Sleeping Beauty wowed the panel of expert judges, and as a result his poster will be used to advertise the ballet and forthcoming events nationwide. What is more, another of our talented artists, Javier Joaquin was awarded runner up for his take on the brief. All in all a huge success for our guys!

Niroot Puttapipat has been busy working with Walker books to produce this absolutely beautiful 3 dimensional version of Aladdin. Niroot illustrates the well known and loved story through a series of layered cut out silhouettes ‘a magical fairy-tale gift to treasure’.

Akbar Ali has been busy creating some beautifully rich illustrations for the classic tale 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears', published by Oxford University Press. His wonderful style has breathed new life into the story and has been so successful that he is now working on another title for OUP. So expect to see his imagining of Snow White soon!
