Make Architects

Master of detail Mike Hall completes ten architectural drawings for Make Architects.

This set of drawings represent some of the company's recent completed projects, and have been used in their latest annual; a 10th Anniversary edition. Mike says "Each drawing was based on photographs and drawn using fineline pen on Bristol Board. The list of ten buildings to be drawn was decided by the annual's design team. The drawings were included as detachable postcards at the rear of the book."

Jonny Duddle Illustrates New Harry Potter Editions

We're very pleased to announce that Jonny Duddle has been selected to illustrate the new children's editions of the Harry Potter series for Bloomsbury Children's Books. It's a brilliant opportunity for his amazing artwork to reach so many children as Harry Potter inspires a new generation of wizards and witches. Jonny worked on a sample artwork which was chosen from three artists by J.K. Rowling and here's the finished cover for the first in the series, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.

Jonny has six more covers to illustrate in time for their publication in September 2014, he said: “I’m hugely excited to work my way through the wonderful books. I couldn’t have asked for more enjoyable subject matter. It’s exciting, daunting and I feel the weight of responsibility, I’m hoping that my illustrations faithfully reflect the characters and the world created by J.K. Rowling.”
