We are delighted to announce that Rachael Saunders’ packaging designs, in collaboration with Whole Foods Supermarket Natural Grocers, have officially hit the shelves!
MBDesign approached Rachael from the US last year to ask for her assistance in developing a new look for the ‘home brand’ products for Natural Grocers. Rachael told us how excited she was to help create a new brand based on her charming Illustrations, “I was asked to create an animal character to compliment each product, as well as reflecting the natural and organic ethos of the brand. Character designing is a dream job of mine so I enjoy every moment of working on this!”
Rachael worked alongside the in house team at MBD to develop the brand’s look. “This involved a lot of experimentation, sketches and colour tests. Once we were happy, the rest fell into place quite easily.” Her deliciously cute Illustrations cover each item in the new product range, from silly squirrels spinning honey to fluffy polar bears chowing down on frozen mango chunks!
We have even more exciting news as Rachael let us know there should be even more as the brand grows “As the Natural Grocers brand products continue to expand, I look forward to sharing more fun characters with you.
